Stainless Steel

Stainless steel 304 or 316 is commonly used in the production of mesh grilles. SS304 is an austenitic, non magnetic, economical grade of stainless steel which will not rust under normal conditions. Similar to SS304, SS316 has the addition of Mo, giving a very higher corrosion resistance.

Stainless steel is harder to bend or damage than aluminum, but heavier and more expensive. As stainless steel is easier to process, it is a good choice to those demanding a true metal grille with considerable strength.
