Stainless steel knitted wire mesh is produced by special weaving machines, use stainlesss steel wire as raw material, knitting monofilament or multifilament wire into a tubular form. Then the wire mesh be flattened to mesh rolls, and can be also supplied in corrugated (crimped) form. Stainless steel knitted wire mesh are most commonly used in the filtration & separation industries and EMI & RFI shielding industries.

Depending on the specification, and the manufactured width is between 3 mm and 600 mm. The standard materials are Grade 304 and Grade 316 stainless steel.
